NUMERICS Program

What is NUMERICS?

The NUMERICS program is a international PhD program launched by CEA in the fields of numerical simulation and scientific computing. The  45 PhD students have been recruted during 4 campains (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 sessions). [Find more about recruitment process]
The NUMERICS program is supported by the MSCA (Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions) from the EU framework Program for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020. 
​This new PhD training program at CEA aims at:  
• supporting the training of talented young scientists who are creative, performant and can run into an international quality level with interdisciplinary competencies,
• supporting the production of outstanding research outputs contributing to the development of CEA in the fields of numerical simulation worldwide.
All the PhD fellows recruited under this program will be jointly supervised and/or mentored by an international expert associated with a CEA Simulation Platform in relation with their PhD supervisor.
The PhD degree delivered by the partner Doctoral school will mention the names of the laboratories where the laureates prepared their PhD work.
